Job Summary: Responsible for material follow-up, schedule collaboration, urgent parts expediting and supplier delivery performance improvement.
What You Will Do:
Coordinate flow of materials within Service Parts Network and facilitate the transfer of inbound materials (premium freight) from suppliers to warehouse.
Monitor and follow up supplier’s shipping plan to pursue a robust parts availability.
Check and upload the best ESD to satisfy customers’ urgent orders.
Support NPI and CPI project to build up initial stock for business needs.
Track and analyze supplier performance metrics. Collaborate and negotiate with supplier to deliver materials per requirements.
What You Will Have:
Degree: Bachelor or above on Major of Mechanical or Logistics
Obtains information about product and service linkages with other products and services elsewhere in organization.
Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives. Uses fact-finding techniques and diagnostic tools to identify problems.
Works with real-time inventory software, moving supplies to where needed, when needed. Follows processes and applies technologies for items and inventory management.
Works with basic distribution requirements planning (DRP) processes and operations.
Participates in preparation of short-term forecasts for a specific product. Locates useful
Ensures that the inventory is at an appropriate level and meets both internal and external requirements. Applies systems and processes to identify and coordinate inventory requirements; resolves conflicts.
Participates in integrating logistics processes and developing effective networks. Works with logistics in a domestic environment.
Follows procedures in carrying out routine supplier management tasks. Uses electronic systems or tools to record/retrieve supplier information and carry out transactions with suppliers. Resolves routine supplier issues; escalates non-routine issues up chain of command. Works with suppliers to ensure that purchases meet delivery date and quality specifications.
3 years or above on Material Planer or related Supply Chain Experience is preferred
