As the "face of Airgas," the Local Delivery Driver is responsible forsafely and efficiently delivering compressed gas cylinders to local andregional business customers from an Airgas branch or plant location using acompany-provided straight or box truck. The Local Delivery Driver loads,unloads, delivers, and returns compressed gas cylinders while frequentlyinteracting with Airgas customers.

Most vehicles are under 6 years old and equipped with driver-friendlytechnology, such as On Board Computers, collision avoidance technology,latest camera technology and GPS navigation.
Position Title: LOCAL DELIVERY DRIVERLocation: Henderson, COMonday - Friday, local deliveries. Home Daily!Straight Truck - Class A or B CDL with Hazmat Endorsement required.
In particular, you will:
Drives truck over established route to deliver and sell products whileperforming the following duties:
Drives truck to deliver gasses and hard goods to customer's places ofbusiness.
Performs any non-route delivery(s) necessary to provide customers withproduct.
Writes customer orders and instructions.
Records sales or deliveries information on daily sales or delivery records.
Listens to and resolves service complaints.
Issues sales promotion materials to customers.
Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise. Loadstruck.
Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections, documenting deficienciesutilizing Airgas forms and ensure all safety items are in good working order.
Complies with all company policies and meets DOT requirements.
Assists inside the retail branch, servicing customers at dock, frontcounter and over the phone.
Attend safety meetings as scheduled before, during or after daily shifts.
Assists with other driver's scheduled duties as needed.________Are you a MATCH?
Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement. Hazmat can be obtained post-offer.
At least one full year of experience driving a Class A or B vehicle under DOTrequirements within the last 5 years.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Current Medical Examiner's Card.
Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets.
Ability to routinely lift 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greaterthan 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
Must be able to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours; frequent bending isalso required.
Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
Must be able to work occasional overtime if necessary.
Pay range: $25.00 - $27.00 HourlyIncentive pay: This position is eligible for incentive compensation in thefollowing program: quarterly bonus program.
