Store #3603 is currently seeking a dedicated individual to fill the position of full-time Liquor Store General Manager 2A, so do not hesitate to submit your application today!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs the individual in this role, you will be responsible for overseeing, leading, and guiding the operations within state-owned Fine Wine Good Spirits establishments. Serving as the general manager, your duties will involve enforcing and executing policies and procedures for store functions, assessing and monitoring employee performance, and fostering positive customer interactions. General managers are held responsible for the overall management of the store, encompassing sales, store upkeep, inventory management, financial transactions, record-keeping, and other associated tasks.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employmentWork hours vary between 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Sunday - Saturday.Work hours will vary.  Scheduled hours will be equal to 75 hours/biweekly.Salary:The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.  Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.  REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:One year as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 2 or a Liquor Store General Manager 1B; orTwo years as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 or a Liquor Store General Manager 1A; orThree years as a Liquor Store Clerk 2; orThree years of lead or supervisory retail sales work.

Legal Requirements:You must pass a background investigation.  An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.  Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
