Job Description

　　A Fortune 50 client is looking for a Linux Administrator to come join the Enterprise Data and Analytics Platform Engineering team. The ideal candidate would have experience with Starburst and/or Presto, as this client manages the Presto environment for the entire enterprise, so any time it goes down, if there's an outage, or any issues, it comes to this team and you will be responsible for helping get on the calls to get the issue resolved. If this candidate does not have Presto, we are looking for someone has strong Linux administration skills in an Azure PaaS environment. This role will also require you to work with other business units and organizations who want to get on the Presto/Starburst platform. You will take in those requirements then manage the setup and provisioning of the platform. This is a technical, customer focused role. The ideal candidate will be located in the Dallas/Plano area and willing to go onsite, however remote candidates will be considered.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　5+ years of strong Linux Administration experience

　　Azure Administration experience with PaaS (storage accounts, databases, etc.) resource configuration

　　Experience setting up and troubleshooting backend AKS compute, including ranger configurations

　　AKS hands on experience at admin capacity

　　Strong Database (Synapse and SQL)/concepts

　　Good understanding on networking -- load balancing, F5, provider edge router, and gateways

　　Good understanding of Databricks

　　Excellent communication

　　Self-starter

　　Customer obsession Strong hands-on experience with Presto/Starburst Administration skills on Azure platform null
