RHI Magnesita is seeking a dynamic Refractory Linings Marketing Manager for North America. This role will preferably sit in either York, PA or Tampa, FL but has the potential to work remotely.
This role will be responsible for managing the Refractory Linings technical marketing team, which performs specialized technical assistance to steel customers across all North America. This team ensures the application of optimized solutions for customers by evaluating and prospecting new opportunities, seeking to propose innovative concepts, and optimizing performance and processes.

Tasks will include:
Managing all Refractory Linings technical marketing activities including personnel activities, identifying market demands, project prioritization, etc.Developing strategies to enter new client projects, understanding competition and technology available in the market, along with refractory demand and potential equipment demand at each site.Assessing operational scenarios at each customer location, understanding current business opportunities and the appropriate refractory solution within the RHIM portfolio.Interfacing with our production plant, R&D and other technical areas in the country or abroad, for the development of new technologies, roll-out of new technologies, and monitoring of these in customers.Capturing new trends in the market and customers through benchmarking, participating in the development of studies for improvement/innovation, and seeking opportunities to feed the portfolio of potential developments of new refractory, digital, instrumentation and other products.Supporting the development of technical feasibility scenarios for projects/programs in a comprehensive and systemic way, to support decision-making and feed the company's medium and long-term business plan.Working with R&D to request research projects, aimed at meeting customer needs, improving quality and reducing costs.Participating in strategic dialogues with suppliers and internal areas to solve critical issues for the business.Operating in a flexible and available manner to serve customers within their deadlines and operating models, and to ensure compliance with signed contracts.Relaying strategic and tactical guidelines to the team, directing responsibilities for strategic themes, facilitating and integrating the work of the team and processes in a systemic perspective to achieve results.About you:
A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Metallurgical Engineering or similar field.5+ years of experience in the steel industry or refractory business1-3 years of experience in managing teams in the steel industry or refractory business.Language Proficiency in English, advanced knowledge in Spanish.Experience managing people and processes.Project management skills.Highly organized and self-motivated; ability to work independently.Do you recognize yourself in this role?
