Junior Corporate Counsel

JOB SUMMARY
The Junior corporate counsel will support all lines of business to draft and negotiate commercial agreements, review and draft commercial leases and non-disclosure agreements, manage Litigation matters, a typical day would include anything from dealing with contract negotiations both with customers and vendors to working with business units on compliance matters and assisting with litigation matters.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide legal advice to various lines of business in the areas of customs brokerage, transportation and integrated logistics, international freight forwarding, information technology, intellectual property, managed services and employment
Conduct legal research regarding regulatory compliance applicable to international trade and custom brokerage.
Negotiate, draft or review various corporate commercial documents in support of transactions entered into on behalf of the company
Review and draft commercial lease agreements and help facilitated related transactions
Conduct due diligence
Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Adhere to established policies and procedures

WORK EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED
4 years of related experience
EDUCATION
Preferred: Juris Doctorate or equivalent in Business or Global Trade/Commerce
