Description If you can solve and communicate complex problems for both technical and non-technical users, Robert Half is searching for someone like you to fill a PC Technician role in the IT Software industry. This role may be for you if you are a self-starter and a problem solver who enjoys working in a positive, dynamic environment. As the PC Technician, you will work in the Westwood, Massachusetts, region. This role is a long-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity.

　　Your responsibilities

　　Track equipment inventory and collaborate on potential purchases

　　Take down, pack, transport and set up/install on site

　　Break down, box and ship old equipment

　　Provide frequent and effective communication with ticket submitters

　　Install printers, troubleshoot problems and make repairs

　　Coordinate repairs with the appropriate vendors

　　Complete PC-to-PC data transfers and troubleshoot software/hardware and break/fix

　　Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and refurbish PCs, laptops, monitors, server, and other computer hardware

　　Assist with functionality testing and end user support

　　Ensure the integrity of electronic data records, acting in accordance with company quality standards

　　Manage imaging and preparation for new computers

　　Record daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions or installation activities

　　Own and complete technology implementation projects Requirements - Excellent attention to detail

　　2+ years of experience with PC and Mac hardware and software, and an understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN

　　An understanding of networking such as switching and routing is highly valued

　　Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds

　　Be able to adapt and thrive in constantly changing environments

　　Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement

　　A certification in CompTIA A+ is mandatory

　　ServiceNow ITSM experience highly desired

　　Proficiency in Computer Imaging

　　Foundational knowledge in Desktop Imaging

　　Expertise in Software Asset Management
