  Job Title: iOS App Software Developer (Contract - 6 months)Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced iOS App Software Developer on a contract basis for a 6-month period to join our dynamic, multi-disciplinary design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of a high-quality, accessibility-first iOS application. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application. The candidate should demonstrate a strong passion for and expertise in accessibility, ensuring the developed application is inclusive and accessible to all users.Responsibilities:

  Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Refactor and integrate any existing codebases.Implement and conduct unit testing of code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to maintain application performance.Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.Maintain code integrity and organization.Work with external data sources and APIs.Integrate and work with various networking protocols into iOS applications, including experience with TCP.Advocate for and implement accessibility features to ensure the inclusivity of the applications.Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.Requirements:

  Proven working experience in software development.Proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C.Strong knowledge of iOS SDK, different versions of iOS, and how to deal with different screen sizes, including watchOS.Experience with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.Knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools.Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.Understanding of Apple's design principles and human interface guidelines.Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git).Experience in implementing and conducting unit testing procedures.Experience working with networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, etc.) and integrating them into iOS applications.Passion for and expertise in accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.Qualifications:

  Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think logically.Excellent communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.A passion for innovation and staying updated on the latest industry trends.Additional Information:
