About This Position:
This position supports the investor relationship function to build and maintain profitable relationships with investors. Responsible for managing key existing clients and serving as a driver in selling Trinity to existing investors.
Reports directly to the Client Relations ManagerServes as the key point of contact for existing investors; responsible for investor relations activities by nurturing existing relationshipsWorks closely with the Marketing, Investments, and Client Relations teams to execute on initiatives to grow the business and create effective strategiesServices investors with a high level of integrity, build rapport, obtain referrals, and maintain a positive company imageUtilizes Excel, CRM investor portal, and Google Sheets to prepare reports related to sales activityMay travel 2-3x/month to visit investments and attend investor events, occasionally out of stateNote: The duties of this position do not involve cold callingPosition Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a relevant subject3+ years of applicable work experience with progressively increased responsibilities in business development or relationship managementHave showcased success (metrics) in an earlier role; proven track record of managing successful partnership relationshipsStrong working knowledge of finance and private equityProficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and Google SheetsSelf-motivated, high energy, goal-orientedExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize conclusions and confidently present well-supported arguments for or against specific investment opportunitiesMust be able to successfully complete securities licenses within 120 days from hire date. These licenses may include the SIE, Series 82, and Series 63 licensesNotable interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and coordinate with third parties on behalf of Trinity InvestorsMust have the ability to self-direct work and exercise independent judgment to formulate and implement solutionsPreferred Qualifications:
Ability to focus under pressure; comfortable meeting tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detailExcellent critical reasoning, quantitative, and analytical skills demonstrated by work experience and/or academic recordAbility to multitask and prioritize deadlines across several projects with different managersSelf-starter; able to identify "what's next" and make meaningful progress with little oversight or structureFamiliarity with JuniperSquare or similar CRM tool, such as SalesforceOur Benefits
