Inventory Manager will be part of the Supply Chain organization in Image Guided Therapy Devices (IGTD) business. This position holder will drive end-to-end inventory optimization with IGTD ISC, Markets, and the global Philips Inventory Center of Excellence (CoE).
I this role, you will apply program management and analytical skills to drive continuous improvement and improve inventory performance.
In this role, you are responsible for:
Establishing inventory norms for every end-to-end IGTD supply chain, with quarterly ROFO assessment at FG and RM levels and monthly overview in collaboration with the Supply and OMM leaders.
Developing and implementing inventory management policies and procedures to optimize stock levels, reduce stockouts, overstocks, and obsolescence, and define the cadence, operating rhythm, change management, and communication.
Establishing weekly/monthly inventory reporting for every stock point vs. norms at FG and RM levels. (This needs to be cross-checked with the Unhealthy inventory KPI.)
Driving performance management via Tiered Management of weekly/monthly KPIs
Developing a closed goods flow inventory model to support scenario-making, latest Views, Forecasting, and annual operating plans.
Identifying Inventory optimization opportunities across the end-to-end supply chain and centralizing all the information around excess and obsolescence risks as business discussion drivers.
Conducting regular inventory audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory data and resolve discrepancies through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Defining and leading transformation projects to improve inventory management by initially assessing available tools (Excel and Power BI)
Together with Inventory CoE, developing core capabilities on inventory management for HPM
Driving a deeper understanding of inventory performance using analytical and problem-solving techniques to provide new views on performance and insights into future opportunities.
Teaming up with various stakeholders across IGTD ISC, Markets, Inventory CoE, and Functions – create buy-in and collaboration.
Identifying best practices, internal and external, and deploying them across the business.
Staying updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in inventory management, and providing recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.
You're the right fit if you have a customer-first attitude and the following:
Bachelor/Master of Science degree in a technical or business field
10+ years of experience working in inventory management or supply chain in a multinational on a global scale
Passionate about transformation and ability to inspire change using relevant information
Strong stakeholder management – experience working in a matrix organization, comfortable engaging and collaborating with different seniority levels and leadership – building solid coalitions
Deep understanding of continuous improvement, problem-solving, Daily Management, and Lean principles.
Ability to change the thinking of and gain acceptance from others in a practical, collaborative manner.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Structured – Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions - program management – performance management (LEAN).
Proficient in using inventory management tools, ERP systems, and visualization tools.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position is $130,000 to $180,000, annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
