Description Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking an Inventory Clerk. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible to manage orders to facilitate sales or production and keep track of goods and services. As the Inventory Clerk you will be placing orders for more inventory according to demand, signing off on shipments, and counting the number of available products. If you are a detailed oriented inventory professional with excellent math and communication skills, this is the Inventory Clerk position for you!

　　Ordering inventory from vendors and suppliers and scheduling shipment arrival times

　　Obtaining estimates and price details from different vendors to compare costs

　　Managing items by counting and classifying

　　Handling document discrepancies

　　Working closely with the inventory analyst and purchasing manager

　　Data entry duties

　　Control inventory by stocking and cataloging products

　　Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records Requirements - Experience with inventory computer programs, such as spreadsheets

　　High school diploma or equivalentMust have an understanding of the range of services and products offered by the company

　　Must be skilled at problem solving and have a good attention to detail

　　1+ years' experience in retail and/or inventory sector is preferred

　　Excellent verbal and written communication skills

　　Excellent analytical thinking skills and mathematical capabilities
