About Internal Audit - Data Analytics Solutions Director

  Internal Audit is seeking a Data Analytics Director to join our Central Data Analytics Solutions team to help drive innovation. You will manage a group of talented individuals and report to and work closely with the Central DA Solutions Lead to facilitate innovation supporting the future of the Internal Audit Department.

  Your responsibilities for this position will include oversight activities including a focus on assisting in defining and delivering innovative solutions for the future of the Internal Audit department. You will coordinate with stakeholders including auditors, audit senior management, corporate technology, and other areas throughout the firm as required (e.g., centers of excellence). Key responsibilities and desired behaviors, expected skills, and experience are summarized as follows:

  Job Responsibilities

  Assist in identifying and defining innovative solutions contributing to and helping define the future of the audit department driving department efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency.

  Oversight of a group of Central DA Solutions team members dedicated to assisting in defining and delivering innovative solutions supporting the future of the audit department.

  Define business cases including approach, feasibility, research findings, cost-benefit analysis and risks or dependencies.

  Assist and provide guidance performing detailed analysis on opportunities, including fact finding, applicability, viability, feasibility, and sustainability.

  Assist and provide guidance in evaluating the effectiveness of delivered solutions to ensure the solutions remain fit-for-purpose, accurate, complete, and timely.

  Facilitate the communication of delivered solutions to broader audit department, individual teams, and audit stakeholders, as necessary.

  Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  Work well in a collaborative team environment, manage expectations and competing priorities, be enthusiastic, have willingness to adapt in a fast-paced environment, understand sense of urgency, and be effective under pressure.

  Continually learn including staying abreast of new tools and technologies to assist the team in creating the most efficient and effective solutions.

  Ability to oversee several tasks concurrently in an efficient and effective manner with a history in creative and successful delivery.

  Professional maturity and the ability to work with limited supervision

  Strong critical thinking / problem-solving skills.

  Minimum of a bachelor's degree.

  Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  Detailed knowledge of the audit process and technology infrastructure are strongly desired.

  Strong project management skills, experience working with complex data sets and environments, drawing conclusions, and reporting findings.

  Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, end user service, and technical writing skills, coupled with strong interest in further developing and integrating operations with technology.

  Ten plus years of experience in financial services, internal audit, data analytics, technology, business analysis or risks/controls is preferred.

  We offer a competitive total rewards package including base salary determined based on the role, experience, skill set, and location.
