JOB REQUIREMENTS: Linetec Status: Exempt Plant/Department: Inside SalesReports to: Inside Sales Manager Summary of Position: Provide directcommunication between the customer and Linetec operations to manage jobscheduling, metal finishing and packaging requirements, delivery andpricing, and customer service/issue resolution. Essential Duties:Initial order intake processing - gather customer specifications within4 hours of purchase order receipt to prepare the order for order entrystaff. Coordinate production schedule priorities, expedite requests, andmanage order changes with production operations, including accurate andtimely date management on orders Resolve discrepancies (damage material,counts, etc.) by physical inspection and communication with productiondepartments. Exercise discretion on applying credits to customers.Proactively follow up with customers on all open issues (goal = within 2hours). Monitor orders and procedures for compliance withcustomer-specific service agreements. Reconcile incoming arrival bill ofladings with previously entered receiving paperwork. Attend dailyproduction meetings to provide information on scheduling activities andupcoming customer issues. Provide regular order status updates tocustomers as appropriate Work with production and scheduling tocommunicate accurate ship dates to customers when orders become pastdue. Assist order entry and collections personnel with order questionsMonitor on-time arrival and shipment of orders, taking action to resolveconflicts that jeopardize shipment timing Assist in contacting customersto collect on any past due invoices Maintain Enterprise ResourcePlanning system requirements for order scheduling Research and confirmcustomer concerns before issuing credits Provide training support andbest practice ideas to team, especially for new team members. Apply Leanprinciples in own work performance and drive Lean applications incompany operations Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum of 2-4 yearsCustomer Service experience, preferably in a manufacturing ordistribution operation Post high school education required, bachelor\'sdegree in a related field preferred.
