　　As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

　　Supporting installation and start-up of new production equipment

　　Troubleshooting and performing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic equipment repairs

　　Leading manufacturing and facilities equipment preventative maintenance and repairs

　　Leading modifications to equipment which optimize performance and reliability

　　Your Skills and Expertise

　　To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

　　Possess a two (2) year technical degree in a maintenance field (completed and verified prior to start)OR

　　Possess High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start) AND three (3) years of industrial maintenance experienceAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

　　Five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience

　　Associates degree in a technical discipline such as Electro-Mechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or Robotics and Automation

　　Experience troubleshooting and problem solving in a manufacturing environment

　　Experience working with automated manufacturing equipment

　　Work location:

　　Ames, IATravel: None

This targeted compensation range represents a good faith estimate and can vary based on factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
