Responsibilities:
Maintenance of pumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers & chains, bearings and hydraulics involved in the manufacturing process.Undertake preventative maintenance program for equipment.Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to repair equipment.Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during the assembly, installation, set-up and repair of equipment and machinery.Work in manlifts with the use of fall protection equipment.Repair and assemble hydraulic equipment and cylinders.Verify and document repairs made.Work in a safe manner using proper PPERequired Skills:
3 years of previous maintenance experience Be able to use supply room and cross-reference parts and specify partsCompetent in reading blueprints and schematicsCompetent in cutting and welding in all positionsCompetent in all type bearing installations and alignmentsCompetent in use of lubricantsCompetent with all type power transmission components and troubleshootingBe able to figure drive ratiosCompetent in troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systemsBe able to rebuild hydraulic and pneumatic components Be able to wire motorsBe able to use multimeter to take readingsCut keyway in shaftBe able to pass a cutting and welding test (flat, overhead, vertical, and horizontal).Be able to pass a basic mechanical assessment testBe able to pass a basic hands-on testHigh school diploma or GED Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays as requiredEnvironmental Conditions:
Must be able to tolerate extreme hot, humid, cold, and outdoor conditions. Comfortable working in loud environment, around moving machinery, with vibrations and airborne particles (sawdust).
