  The pay range per hour is $25.50 - $43.35

  Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications.   ALL ABOUT GENERAL MERCHANDISE

  Experts of operations, process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, instock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store. This team leads Food & Beverage and Food Service, providing a fresh and food safe experience. Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by owning pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

The role of an Inbound Operations Team Leader can provide you with the: Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest first culture on your teamKnowledge of retail business fundamentals including: department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategiesSkills in planning department(s) daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver sales goalsSkills in process improvements and workload efficiencyExperience leading a team of hourly team members including: skills in interviewing, developing, coaching, evaluating and retaining talentAs an Inbound Operations Lead, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience. Model, train and coach expectations to deliver the service standardUnderstand sales goals, plan and execute daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagementBe an expert of operations, accuracy and efficiencyUtilize your workload planning tools to complete all scheduled workload ensuring areas are guest ready at store openCreate a scheduling plan in partnership with your ETL based off of monthly and weekly business workload and guest trafficWork a schedule that aligns to guest and business needs (this may include early morning, evening, overnight shifts and weekends)Assess all GM backroom, sales floor areas and review reporting to identify gaps and develop a plan to resolveEnable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is in stock and availableLead and follow-up on organizational and operational changeEvaluate and recommend candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric teamEstablish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable to expectationsLead team onboarding and learningLead and coach the team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all inbound processesClose knowledge and skill gaps through training and experiencesDemonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing biasDemonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; lead team to work in the same way and hold others accountable to this commitmentLead and create a safety advocacy culture by understanding how safety impacts your role and that of your team, identifying and correcting hazards, and holding team accountable to working in a safe manner to benefit themselves and othersIf applicable, as a key carrier, follow all safe and secure training and processesAddress store needs (emergency, regulatory visits, etc.)Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage lawsAll other duties based on business needsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

But there are a few skills you should have from the get-go:High school degree or equivalentMust be at least 18 years of age or olderPrevious retail experience preferred, but not requiredLead and hold others accountableLearn and adapt to current technology needsWork independently and as part of a teamManage workload and prioritize tasks independentlyWelcoming and helpful attitudeEffective communication skillsWe are an awesome place to work and care about our teams, so we want to make sure we are clear on a few more basics that we expect:Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issuesInterpret instructions, reports and informationAccurately handle cash register operationsClimb up and down laddersScan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 poundsFlexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and regular attendance necessaryAmericans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
