GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Wyoming State Hospital is seeking a Psychology Services Analyst. This position provides psychological services to a variety of clients, including people who have intellectual disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and mental health challenges. Services may include adaptive cognitive assessments and positive behavior support programs. The candidate will also serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team, train staff on behavior support programs, document behavioral data, and be a member of multiple teams and committees.

Provides behavior assessments such as adaptive testing and behavioral analysis
Develops and implements behavioral support plans
Train staff on behavior support programs, plans, and guidelines
Collects monitors and analyzes data to measure the effectiveness of training programs and client progress toward objectives
Performs crisis intervention
Discusses client's treatment alternatives with family and professionals
Provides consultation to other agency staff members regarding effective programming approaches and problem-solving
Observe clients and living areas to monitor program implementation, effectiveness, and staff interactions
Serves as a committee member and attends and participates in appropriate committee meetings and staff meetings
Qualifications
PREFERENCES:
Preference may be given to those with experience in mental illness.
KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of the philosophy, aims, and goals of mental health counseling
Knowledge of techniques for administering and evaluating psychological tests
Knowledge of research methodology
Knowledge of collecting and analyzing data
Knowledge of counseling and behavioral intervention techniques or approaches in group and individual settings
Knowledge of psychological/behavioral disorders
Knowledge of various assessment and evaluation tools
Knowledge of professional ethics
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Master's Degree or higher
Experience:
1 year of progressive work experience (typically in Psychology)
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Behavior Analyst in the State of Wyoming or exempt from licensure pursuant to Wyoming Statute § 33-27-125
Necessary Special Requirements
PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Physical ability to lift, twist, bend, pull, and push up to 50 lbs.NOTES:
FLSA: Exempt
Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing will be conducted on safety-sensitive positions. Drug testing will be completed on any position if reasonable suspicion exists.
A background check, including the taking of fingerprints, will be completed through the Wyoming Department of Criminal Investigation, the Department of Family Services, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for every successful applicant.
A current Influenza Vaccination is required.
