Job Summary Always Best Care is looking for a Part Time Caregiver to provide assistance in physical care and emotional support to our clients in Stockton, Lathrop, Manteca and Modesto in California. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills as you will be providing support for individuals with varying levels of physical or emotional needs. You will be responsible for assisting with providing basic personal and healthcare needs, helping to manage activities of daily living, and providing companion care and comfort from clients’ relatives. The ability to be flexible and adapt to change are essential for this role. Compensation & Benefits This role offers competitive compensation of $16 to $18 per hour, paid biweekly. Additionally, Always Best Care offers ongoing training for employees to ensure skills remain up to date. Responsibilities • Provide basic care and assistance with ADL’s • Document care services accurately in a timely manner • Handle medications and medical equipment appropriately and in a safe manner • Communicate any necessary information to family, friends, and other healthcare professionals • Supervise client to ensure their safety at all times • Assist with activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation • Provide companionship and support to clients • Follow a treatment plan prescribed by a physician or other healthcare professional Requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent • Background check  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a caregiving role • Valid CA Driver’s License and reliable transportation • Home Care Aide Registry number • Current TB (6 mos-1 year) • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change EEOC Statement Always Best Care is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, religion, sex, disability, protected veteran status or any other basis prohibited by law.
