Description:
The Help Desk Support technician will provide level 1 technical support for 10,000+ users organization wide. Support calls will range from basic password resets to internet connectivity issues, where the technician will either resolve or escalate the issue to the appropriate team.
This is a remote position following the first day onsite in Madison, Wisconsin. Candidates must be a resident of Wisconsin per client requirements. No exceptions will be made.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance to end users needing support for hardware, software, applications, printing, network, and operating system issues.
Respond to incoming requests promptly and in a professional manner. Document information per established guidelines and enter detailed troubleshooting information.
Follow up with end users in a timely manner
Perform project work as assigned
Create, organize, review, and update knowledge base documents for resolving and dispatching incidents
Skill Requirements:
1 + years of IT help desk experience troubleshooting Windows based hardware and software issues in a corporate, enterprise environment. This includes experience working in a ticketing system to document and escalate issues appropriately.
