Description:
Actalent is currently hiring for a Healthcare Project Architect to support a local Architecture firm to Columbus, OH and as the Project Architect you will be supporting the Healthcare studio within the architecture firm. You will perform architectural design and development work for a limited number of projects under the guidance of senior architectural staff. You will also be responsible for leading the development of technical aspects and content of projects. Responsibilities include: Leads and contributes to the production of design phase models, drawings, and construction documents using Revit Reviews and coordinates submittals and shop drawings. Coordinates QA activities and incorporate review comments. Ensures that all design deliverables meet project requirements including schedule, budget, and scope as outlined in the contract. As an Actalent consultant you will be a W2 employee of Actalent supporting the Architecture firm and after supporting the firm for 9 months, you have the opportunity to transition to the Architecture firm as their employee. Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Architecture (a Master's Degree in Architecture and active registration as a Licensed Architect OR on the path to becoming registered is Highly Preferred). +7 years of experience within the architecture field Project experience within healthcare or a related industry High proficiency within Revit Working knowledge of construction materials and methods including sustainable solutions. Understanding of architectural contracts and internal project budgets Understanding of building code as applicable to each project
