　　WHAT’S THE JOB?

　　Based in a world-class Horizon North camp facility, the regular shift for this position is 14 days on and 7 days off, with 11-hour workdays. Transportation is provided to the remote location from a pickup point in Winnipeg.

　　The Head Housekeeper supervises and coordinates all Housekeepers and Janitors and is responsible for creating and maintaining the cleanliness of our facilities to the highest level.

　　Wage: $18.50 to start

　　Your work will include:

　　Provide supervision, guidance and support to all Housekeepers and Janitors

　　Provide your team members with positive leadership and set an example of expected requirements;

　　Complete inventory and order supplies to budget parameters;

　　Assist Camp Manager with all paperwork required for reporting purposes, which may include time sheets, walk downs, cleaning logs;

　　Observe and report any needed repairs or damages in the work area to Manager;

　　Comply with all WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and Food Safe standards and ensure all subordinates are complying as well;

　　Comply with all safety standards such as cut gloves, non-slip shoes, etc., and ensure all subordinates are complying as well

　　Qualifications

　　WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

　　You have five (5) or more years of experience in housekeeping or a related field, preferably within the camps and catering environment.

　　You have two (2) or more years experience in a senior housekeeping role

　　You have previous senior housekeeping experience in a 250+ room facility

　　You have excellent communication and leadership skills

　　You have WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) knowledge
