Our client, a pharma company is seeking a Global Category Manager to join their team. The Global Category Manager for Tech Procurement is accountable for all sourcing and contract management across their assigned categories. This role will primarily support the R&D Tech Global Category Lead, primarily buying Software and Tech Services.
Job Title: Global Category Manager
Location: Rockville MD (hybrid 2 days a week onsite)
Pay Range: $40 to $50 per hour W-2
What’s the Job?
The Global Category Manager for Tech Procurement is accountable for all sourcing and contract management across their assigned category(ies).
This will include the development and implementation of category strategies; the contracting for master/service/product agreements within the categories;
Negotiation with Tech Suppliers, and management of internal stakeholders; and for ensuring appropriate BI and Analytics is maintained for the Tech Procurement Category.
This role will primarily support the R&D Tech Global Category Lead, primarily buying Software and Tech Services.
What’s Needed?
Experince development and implementation of category strategies; the contracting for master/service/product agreements within the categories;
Experince buying Software and Tech Services.
Experience with effective negotiation with Tech Suppliers, and management of internal stakeholders
