　　As Global Lead Architect Head-up Displays (m/f/diverse), you will be leading the global system design engineering (SDE) team in the product development center head-up displays (PDC HUD) as well as a system engineering group in Babenhausen. You will direct a staff of system design engineers, product architects, requirements engineers and product integrators who are assigned to development projects. You will be responsible to enable and ensure efficient and high quality project execution for the global SDE and local system engineering team. In addition you will be coaching and developing the global SDE team, support efficiency programs and evaluate new product concepts and features related to HUDs. The position is located in Babenhausen.

　　Global functional leadership for all System Design Engineers in PDC HUD

　　Disciplinary leadership for the System Design Engineers (SDE) and Product Integrators (PI) in PDC HUD Babenhausen

　　Driving the requirements engineering and product architecture activities in PDC HUD

　　Taking over the System Design Engineer role for critical projects and acquisitions

　　Developing the skills and behaviours of the global SDE and local SDE/PI team, including organization and conduction of trainings in the SDE area

　　Establishing a network in R&D to identify and share technical solutions and efficiency measures

　　Leading improvement projects to increase efficiency and/or development quality

　　Identifying new features and technical solutions for Head-up Displays, including the evaluation and preparation of a platform development

　　Academic degree in engineering science (e,g, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, information technology or similar)

　　Professional experience in technical projects in the automotive industry

　　Relevant work experience as System Design Engineer or Product Architect

　　Experience in leading teams (disciplinary or functional leadership)

　　Experience with the product head-up display or similar preferred

　　Experience in more than one engineering discipline preferred

　　Very good English language skills (written and spoken)

　　Good German language skills preferred
