Job SummaryBe a problem solver, trusted advisor, and partner to the people andbusinesses in our Key Bank communities. The Financial Wellness Consultant(FWC) is a Banker who also conducts Teller transactions to buildrelationships, uncover opportunities and provide guidance and solutions toassist in client's financial wellness in person as well as through proactivecalling efforts. FWCs will work toward attracting new clients to Key and workwith existing clients to develop and expand relationships based on theirunique financial goals, leading to client confidence in their finances.Strong and effective teamwork, paired with communication polish andconfidence, are critical for this role. ResponsibilitiesEmbodies a strong client experience culture, being present with every clientand teammate and realizing the impact we can have on their day,personally, professionally, and financially.Listen for clues for financial wellness opportunities during clientconversations, both impromptu and through appointment setting, and provideeffective and customized financial wellness recommendations to clients.Consistently attains individual activity, behavior, and outcome expectations.Accepts and accurately processes all financial service transactions, whileidentifying opportunities during the transaction to deepen and expand theclient relationship.Opening personal and business accounts (consumer checking, smallbusiness, various deposit products, home equity, unsecured lending,certificates of deposit, etc.).Developing strong partnerships with branch teammates and line of businesspartners - focusing on client acquisition and deepening the relationship ofcurrent clients; effectively managing internal and external centers ofinfluence.Ensuring compliance with operational, security and audit procedures andpolicies including appropriate documentation of client interactions.Participate in and occasionally facilitate morning huddles and end of daydebriefsPerforms other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/oractivities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or withoutnComplies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including withoutlimitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting businessethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the bestinterests of Key's clients and Key.
Education QualificationsHigh School Diploma , GED or equivalent experience (required)
Experience Qualifications1-3 years Experienced in developing current and new customer relationships,achieving sales goals and building referral sources- through techniques suchas tele-consulting, outside calling, prospecting and networking (required)Experienced in cash handling (required)General understanding of PC with Windows based applications and calculator(required)Working knowledge of digital technology (mobile, apps, web-basedbrowsing) and ability to educate clients on digital platforms andcapabilities within Key (required)Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques with clients,including tele-consulting, outside calling, prospecting, and networking.(required)Understanding of consumer credit - including loan to value, debt to incomeand credit reports (preferred)
