Description We are offering a customer service representative role in Chantilly, Virginia, United States, within the telecom provider industry. The role requires in-office presence and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook. This role presents an opportunity to join a team that focuses on providing exceptional customer service in a call center environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality customer service to clients over the phone
• Manage customer inquiries and resolve them in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for various tasks including data entry and communication
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action for delinquent payments
• Maintain a typing speed of 45 - 60 WPM for efficient data entry
• Answer multi-line phone system and direct calls as required
• Uphold strong knowledge of company products and services to provide accurate information to customers
• Collaborate with the team to meet and exceed customer service targets
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve skills and stay updated with changes in company policies or products. Requirements • Proven experience as a Customer Service Representative or similar role
• Familiarity with Call Center Customer Service operations
• Solid understanding of general Customer Service procedures and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel
• Fast and accurate Typing skills, ideally over 60 WPM
• Experience with Typing Data Entry tasks
• Ability to handle and efficiently operate a Multi-Line Phone System
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm and courteous
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to work in shifts or flexible hours when required.
