　　Job Summary: Responsible for facilitating compliance with EHS policies and procedures in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. Assist EHS Manager with the planning, implementation and oversight of the OXARC Accident Prevention Plan. This position is responsible for administrative office functions and assisting with special projects, risk management concerns, and assist with maintaining OSHA, EPA, DOT, and FDA compliance.

　　Duties include:

　　Promote, monitor and enforce OXARC EHS policies and procedures in accordance with current regulations.Conduct safety and environmental inspections and observations to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health concerns.Investigate accidents that occur onsite identifying causal factors, root cause, and assign risk rating. Incident follow-up to ensure corrective measures are assigned, implemented, and effective.Complete or assist with job hazard analysis and regular review of completed Job Hazard Analysis. Conduct and document regular safety meetings or trainings as required by OSHA, EPA, DOT, and OXARC's APP.Performs other EHS related duties as assigned.Requirements include:

　　Excellent management and supervisory skills preferred.A working knowledge of safety/environmental principles and techniques.Ability to conduct trainings and meetings.Ability to day travel for meetings and trainings.Ability to travel throughout the facility as required to conduct JHA, and inspections.Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.Ability to work independently, establish priorities and accomplish objectives with minimal supervision.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Must be organized and have good time management skills.Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet use.Drug screen and background check required.Salary Range: Expected hiring salary is $25/hr. - DOE. (Depending on experience) (The salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary for this position which is $25/hr.-$35/hr.)
