Product Test Engineer

　　Work with engine product development teams to identify the electronic components and systems needed for their engine products

　　Working with suppliers to find those parts – either with something that’s in production OR work with the supplier to develop a new component to meet the needs of certain Product groups

　　Planning tests to validate those parts, looking at spec sheets, developing tests to ensure specs are met

　　They work with a lab that does that testing – interfacing with technicians and Test engineers

　　This role is not responsible for the execution of the test

　　Will review CREO models to understand what parts are best or what changes need to be made

　　Not much actual CAD modeling in this role, but would be a good opportunity to get into that area

　　Responsible for managing production of those parts and that there is enough inventory to meet Product teams needs

　　Heavy communication with Product Teams and Suppliers

　　Skills

　　Communication skills

　　Hands on electronics aptitude

　　Mechanical aptitude could also work

　　Testing experience

　　CAD (ideal but not much design needed)
