Description:
The Electrical Foreman is responsible for organizing, managing and installing all components of Commercial and Industrial photovoltaic service installations. Working together with our field personnel, the Electrical Journeyman follows approved design specifications to complete the project with the highest level of safety, quality, efficiency and conformance to the original plans and specifications, on time and within budget. We are seeking someone that can grow with us.
Key Job Duties:• Installation of distributed generation equipment.• Review project plans and drawings and ensure that the project is built according to design.• Installation of electrical systems that interconnect our distributed generation system to our customer’s commercial property.• Perform work as instructed by the Electrical Superintendent and Project Manager, ensuring that it is of good workmanship and compliant with current NEC and local codes.• Oversight and training of multiple crews.• Troubleshoot system problems and resolve electrical issues.• Work with the Crew to maintain a clean jobsite.• Work with the Crew to ensure all required parts to complete the work are stocked and available on the truck/site.• Plan out and keep track of progress.• Ensure all materials and equipment are on site to adhere to project timeline.• Maintain high-quality control of tools, vehicles, and materials needed to perform job responsibilities.• Maintain compliance with all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA and Solar Gain standards.• Perform other needed job tasks as requested by leadership.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair experience. Ability to Bend ½” up to 4” EMT and GRC with an Electric bender.
Must have lead or foreman experience in the past• Has knowledge in installing services from 200 amps to 1200 amps
• Understanding of wire and conduit sizing as well as how to make adjustments for environmental factors
• Ability to read and interpret one line drawings and electrical schematics
• Knowledge of the NEC and the ability to navigate the guidelines
• Ability to follow instructions and performance guidelines
• Must be willing to work in high places (our installations are on rooftops and carports)
• Working knowledge of the usage of a voltmeter
• Working knowledge and experience installing/replacing electrical services and distribution panels
