This role requires you to live in the Greater Alexandria, VA area in order to be able to service clients in the area.
As an Education Consultant, you are part of Fidelity's Participant Engagement business unit, which delivers live education workshops online and in person for the participants of plan sponsors that Fidelity record keeps across the Stock Plan, TEM, and PWI organizations. We know you're a professional presenter who interacts with Plan Sponsors and Participants daily to introduce them to the services that Fidelity provides to assist with Retirement Readiness.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor's degree requiredPrior customer facing experience with a proven track record of successSeries 7, 63, is required and 65/66 is required to be obtained within 3 months of starting roleExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills and ability to maintain a professional demeanor with both internal and external clientsYou have a strong public speaking and public relations acumenYou are intrinsically motivated to succeed and excel in client-oriented engagements In-depth knowledge of the objectives, features, and benefits of Fidelity's solutionsSelf-starter that is comfortable working independently and demonstrates good judgementAbility to travel up to 75%Bilingual in Spanish preferred
The Purpose of Your Role
The position is an opportunity that is ideal for a financial services professional with a desire to change people's lives through delivery of financial education and information via online technology and in-person to Fidelity customers wherever they may be located. The optimum candidate will ideally possess a financial services background and have had formal, or equivalent, professional presentation experience.
The Value You Deliver
You'll be delivering high quality face-to-face or virtual Employee Meetings an average of 13 days per month to our retirement plan participants including: Enrollment Meetings, General Education Meetings, Advanced Investment Meetings, Regional Workshops and Benefits FairsCoordinating the preparation and delivery of these Employee Meetings with attention to detail and client happinessDedicatedly working with business partners on collecting all relevant details of your client's needs and goals to prepare for delivery of an effective meetingHandling your clients' expectations and effectively negotiating unique requests all while supporting and building One Fidelity relationships with your client
