Position Summary
The purpose of this role is to assist Education and Research (EDR) business leaders in their sales efforts by driving the strategy, execution and support of our account program and connecting this program into related strategic sales programs initiatives. Working closely with our EDR Account Executive Sponsors as well as Enterprise Account Program leaders, the individual will help drive account programming, planning and strategy, assist in the building and creation of account strategy plans, account analysis, and tools gain alignment and accountability across leaders and teams, measure, and report on results, and ensure account teams are operating effectively and efficiently; coordinating and connecting into tangential sales initiatives/programs (e.g. active pursuits, competitive intel)
This individual will seek to work efficiently, project manage appropriately, and leverage other resources when appropriate (junior resources, shared service teams, bench, or contractors). This person will be a driver of the overall account program, strategy and support process – providing direct program and account support, building strategic plans, gaining alignment and buy-in of team members, ensuring clarity of responsibilities, analyzing/reporting account data, driving against goals, executing against agendas, and creating overall account support materials and sales materials/presentations. In addition, this individual will work in partnership with executive leaders across industries and capabilities in support of the strategy, development and implementation of our enterprise-wide Key Account Program.
Reporting into the EDR Growth Enablement team leader, the team also looks to this individual to collaborate with other growth enablement team members, analyze the competitive landscape, harvest content, gather feedback, improve processes/actions based on feedback, update where needed, present and implement new ideas, and help in developing additional account enablement tools. This person will be asked to train, mentor, inform and engage other team members in best practices and new processes and will have one junior resource as a direct report.
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
Drive the strategy and execution of theEDRaccount program
Collaborate and help drive the development and implementation of the enterprise-wide account program
Provide direct account support for enterprise named Key Accounts, advise on Tier 1 accounts and coordinate with teamssupporting broader tier 2 & tier 3accounts
Work with junior resources and broader team to provide regular reports and analysis on account activity, sales/pipeline, revenue, client satisfaction, etc. (Salesforce, PowerBI)
Drive the strategy and planning for Key Accounts, including the development of account strategy plans, account analysis and other account assets like solution heatmaps, gap analysis, relationship maps and more; leveraging these tools to help the Account Leads in setting and tracking appropriate goals.
Drive account meetings and agendas including gathering and consolidating the necessary inputs, and drive quarterly account council and community meetings.
Gather and analyzecompetitive intel, providing strategic sales guidance and recommendations to improve processes, content, sales strategies, presentation materials/strategies, etc.
Responsible for becoming familiar with solutions and key resources for Education and Research and serves as interface to broader enablement team (and enterprise-wide leadership) to share suggested, feedback,trends and coordinate new idea development.
Assist in developing sales support materials including client meeting materials and presentations. This includes PowerPoint design, assembling and proofreading the final products and final review of all formatting and brand related items;leveraging junior resources for support.
Responsible for ensuring all content is harvested,identified with proper content owner, tagged to enable intuitive categorization and uploaded to the sales asset management system (Seismic), leveraging junior resources as needed.
Contribute tothe continued optimization of sales asset and presentation best practices and resource training. Which includes co-leading training sessions, developing tools, gathering input for continuous improvementand driving adoption of our sales asset management tool and adherence to content update cadence.
Assists in triaging requests, collaborating across teams, aligning support, replying promptly and interfacing with our internal clients on a timely basis.

Strong writing, editing and presentation/report development skills. Includes deep understanding of how to leverage MS formatting and editing capabilities (especially in Word and PowerPoint).
Data analysis and reporting; strong reporting and analytical skills; ability to synthesize data and present in an actionable format.
Knowledge of financial statements/basic metrics and accounting principles to help with account analysis (operating revenue/expenses/margin, capital expenses, cash flow)
Benchmarking analysis / peer research and identification
Knowledge or familiarity with higher education metrics and terms desired/a plus – e.g. matriculation, rejection, retention, pledges, tuition and fees, sponsored research expenditures and volumes (submissions, awards, subawards, sponsors, funding/agencies, avg. # of days to negotiate contracts)
Demonstrated experience as self-starter with limited need for supervision with ability to take complex issues and tease apart for phased execution.
7+years’ experience in b-to-b firm. Previoussales support or account support experience and
Strong technical skills and self-learner with technology;passionate about enabling optimization with technology; preferred platform experience includes:
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite (core platforms) – Word, PPT, Excel
Intermediate to advanced experience in Salesforce (as a front-end user) managing data input, developing and analyzing reports / dashboards
Familiarity with PowerBI dashboards (as a front-end user)
Familiarity with Microsoft Teams/Sharepoint, highly desired.
Knowledge of or familiarity with sales asset management systems (e.g.Seismic) desired
The estimated base salary range for this job is $100,000 - $145,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $115,000 - $181,200. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future
