  We're looking for an Ecological Risk Assessor to join our team in either North Wales, PA or Exton, PA! As an entry-level position, this is a great opportunity providing you the chance to make a positive impact on the communities in which we live.

  At GHD, our Risk Assessors are typically engaged in projects that apply risk assessment and risk management strategies to support contaminated site decision-making under Federal, state, and international site cleanup programs. This includes supporting and implementing site characterization and remedial action projects that involve efforts to identify and control potentially unacceptable human and ecological exposures to chemicals in the environment.

  Working with an energetic and hard-working team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

   

  Evaluating large environmental datasetsInterpreting site characterization dataPerforming statistical and spatial data analysisPerforming contaminant fate/transport and exposure modelingQuantitatively evaluating ecological risksAssisting with the preparation of reports and other written communicationsPerforming environmental samplingWhat you will bring to the team:

   

  Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in related Science (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Toxicology, Ecotoxicology), Environmental Science, or Environmental Engineering0-2 years of experience in the environmental consulting fieldKnowledge of ecological risk assessment, environmental fate and transport modeling, statistical data analysis and sampling design is a plus Familiarity with spreadsheet and database, softwareStrong analytical and quantitative skills are a requirementExcellent oral and written communication skills#LI-JK1
