  Position Summary: Provide support to the global brand by leading the development of analytics to drive brand strategy and growth for all markets. Work closely with the Global Marketing, Finance, Product Development and GBVC Teams in creating bottom-up New Product Forecasts and related business plans as projects move through the Innovation process. Recommend and communicate New Product forecast guidelines to the regions and assist them in incorporating them into their business plans. Identify brand sales trends across all Regions and Markets and drive for demand adjustments to improve demand plan accuracy. Create ad-hoc demand analytics to support myriad brand initiatives. Review and assess the alignment of the Demand Plan and Financial Estimate to understand and reconcile the gaps between them as part of the larger IBP (i.e. SIOP).

  Responsibilities:

  Create, analyze and present business analytics to support the global Brand. This includes the building of several standard monthly and quarterly reports as well as analytics for key brand meetings and general ad-hoc analyses. For all standard reports provide a summary of insights and recommendations to allow the brand to address risks and opportunities to the Brand's Annual Operating Plan.

  Review and monitor the alignment of the Demand Plan and Financial Estimate to understand and reconcile the gaps between them as part of the larger Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.

  Create reporting to analyze demand KPI’s, identify insights, and initiate actions.

  Identify sales opportunities at the category/product/market levels to optimize business initiatives.

  Create refreshable long range sales projections at the SKU and Subcategory levels for saleable and promotional products. Communicate updates to management and cross functional partners.

  Lead/coach team on the development of new product forecasting guidelines for all markets working closely with Global Marketing, Product Development, and Finance as part of the Brand and Corporate Innovation Process. Work closely with Regional Brand and Demand Planning Teams to assure robust business plans are put in place. Review forecast assumptions and volumes throughout the project stages to drive for Regional and Market alignment to launch strategy.

  Monitor the planned phase outs of existing items and assure they are timed with any linked successor SKU launches. Identify risks and opportunities to the demand plan and recommend demand actions.

  Drive for Saleable and Promotional demand sufficiency atthe Region and Affiliate levels.

  Develop/implement processes to enhance the Global Business Planning function and cross-functional collaborations. Drive for adherence to existing processes.

  Manage direct report including coaching, development, and enhancement of functional expertise.

  Coordinate special projects as needed.

  Qualifications

  Proactive analytical skills with communication & influence abilities – proven ability to work closely and effectively with cross functional partners and leadership team (across marketing, finance, supply chain).

  Strong analytical abilities, strong excel skills, strong PowerPoint skills, robust knowledge of the demand planning process and business planning.Working knowledge of data and visualization platforms for Dashboard creation and maintenance (i.e. Tableau, Alteryx).

  Systems thinking mindset - ability to understand multiple interactions with the demand-driven Supply Chain. Excellent critical thinking skills and detail orientation. Inquisitive self-starter.

  Strong leadership skills - proven ability to manage/develop direct report(s).

  Knowledge of Analytics, Demand Planning, Merchandise Planning, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and/or Data Visualization preferred.

  The anticipated base salary range for this position is $117,000 to $202,100. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
