The opportunity
This position may be based in Parsippany, NJ, USA; Amsterdam, Netherlands; or Tel Aviv, Israel.
This hands-on Communications Leader is experienced in all facets of Corporate Communications including internal and external channels as well as issues and change management. In support of the company’s Pivot to Growth strategy, he/she will serve as a Corporate Affairs business partner to units within Teva Global Operations (TGO) with responsibility for creating a stronger line of sight to business priorities including the manufacturing and supply operating model, environmental sustainability, and operational excellence. At the same time, he/she will drive the unit’s overall content strategy, including channel and content (written and visual) development and editing, editorial calendar management, and analytics. He/she will also contribute to company-wide global meetings and programs, while managing external issues and reputational projects as needed. The successful candidate will be expected to influence across a highly matrixed global organization, working closely with Operations, R&D, Commercial, Human Resources and Corporate Affairs leaders.
How you’ll spend your day
Translate global and business unit priorities into relevant communications strategies, programs and messages that engage employees, enable managers, empower leaders, and simplify processes to support the business.
Act as strategic partner to TGO leadership team members by counseling on employee engagement, issues management, reputation needs, and key programs.
Enable employee engagement within TGO manufacturing segments and global functions through proactive conversations, communications planning, and execution.
Work with our global site communications network to pull through organizational messages and programs; coach site leaders and people managers on communication and engagement skills; and standardize and simplify site face-to-face communications processes.
Develop and implement TGO’s global content strategy, including sourcing and creation for internal and external channels; campaign and calendar management; and analytics.
Define success parameters and measure the effectiveness of communication strategies to ensure continuous improvement.
Work closely with Corporate Affairs and TGO site partners to contribute to the development and distribution of company-wide content and programs, and to pull through global programs at the local level.
Your experience and qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Journalism, PR or similar.
A minimum of 10 years of overall experience in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing.
Highly articulate leader with success in influencing leaders/managers at all levels in a highly matrixed organization.
Exceptional written and presentation skills with the ability to distill complex business information and produce engaging content in a variety of styles for internal and external use.
Creative and collaborative team player with demonstrated success in defining and implementing internal and external engagement strategies.
Hands-on, agile work style capable of quickly evaluating and shifting priorities in fast-paced environment.
Digital savvy and with a strong understanding of modern internal and external channels.
Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information.
Proven experience in global, complex organizations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Knowledge of mass distribution (Poppulo) and survey tools (Survey Monkey, MS Forms) a plus.
Pharmaceutical industry/Manufacturing knowledge a plus.
