As a systems engineer on our team, you will work with Booz Allen colleaguesand the U.S. Space Force to develop and deploy the next generation of AssuredAccess to Space capabilities enabling DoD, IC, civil and commercial spacesystems delivery to orbit and space exploration. Your client will trust you todevelop Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs), Interface ControlDocuments (ICDs), technical assessments, verification plans, anddigital mission and system models for launch operations. You Have:
4+ years of experience in large-scale space mission and systems engineeringand integration on national security or commercial space programs
4+ years of experience performing systems engineering analysis anddeveloping systems engineering products for space systems
2+ years of experience using Model-Based Systems Engineering tools,including Sparx EA, MagicDraw or Cameo, DOORS, or IBM Rhapsody
Experience with the development of technical specifications, ICDs, andintegration plans and schedules
Experience with automation or scripting in JavaScript, Python, or VTL
Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program managementfunctions in support of design reviews and requirements verification
Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical risks and issues,develop technical reports, and collaborate with government and otherstakeholders to implement recommended solutions
Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships withgovernment clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers(FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, orMathematics(STEM) field
Nice If You Have:
Experience performing systems engineering, integration, and testing onspace-based TT&C systems, including ground-based space C2
Experience with space launch system or launch operations support systems
Experience with MATLAB, STK, ModelCenter, or TeamCenter
Knowledge of Agile Methodologies
Possession of strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or IT
INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications, including ASEP,CSEP, or ESEP Certification
OMG Certified Systems Model Professional Certification
