The Role
Essential Job Duties:
Design, develop, maintain, and support high-quality in-house software build systems for Enterprise class software.
Design, create, and maintain automated pipelines to continuously deliver value to clients.
Design, create, and maintain automated pipelines to manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Provide design, implementation guidance and tutoring as necessary to other team members in best practices, tool use, and DevOps principals.
Designing, training, and implementing source code control management best practices
Works independently and within project teams to provide guidance and recommendations to business stakeholders and management for risk remediation.
Communicate effectively with members of software development and other project related groups to ensure processes and project objectives are met.
Contribute, review and document ongoing improvements of the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for DevOps best practices.
Requires some after-hours release support, so a flexible time schedule is required.

The Requirements
3+ years of experience as a DevOps/SCM engineer, or in a position with similar skill sets and responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of n-tier web applications
Experience building .NET applications using build tools like Azure DevOps, Team City, Jenkins, MS Build.
Experience using a scripting language such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Azure Resource Manager
Proficiency with Windows operating systems.
Knowledge of Desired State Configuration technologies such as Microsoft DSC, Puppet, Chef, SCCM/SMS.
Knowledge of basic networking concepts like DNS, VNET, Load Balancing, Firewall, WAF and ability to diagram accordingly.
Capability to support a software development teams’ timelines and targets.
Capability and desire to be a strong team player.
Experience establishing standards and procedures and advocate best practices.
Familiarity with change management systems and processes
Familiarity with principles of continuous integration and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Strong knowledge with Continuous Delivery Concepts.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical, creative, adaptable, resourceful, innovative, and imaginative and fun
Strong problem-solving skills required, and ability to follow through to completion.

Bonus:
Experience with Azure supporting IaaS and PaaS software implementations.
Experience with Cloud Native applications (Kubernetes, Docker)
Experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a position with similar skill sets and responsibilities.
Experience with building/deploying .NET applications.
Familiarity with Networking Concepts.
Education:
