If you want to work making positive changes in the community the Montana Department of Corrections is the place for you! *JOB OVERVIEW * Provide periodontal and preventive oral care to Inmates at Montana State Prison. * Care including, but not limited to oral prophylactic services, root planning and curettage with local anesthesia and oral debridement. * Assist the dentist with the Inmates comprehensive oral examination, including obtaining current patient medical history, assessing and collecting data on the Inmates periodontal health, taking necessary radiographs. * When directed by a dentist place preventive pit and fissure sealant. * Provide fluoride treatment as directed by the Dental Department guidance or on request of the dentist. * Provide oral hygiene instruction to Inmates and assist the Director, Dental Services in maintain the preventive oral health program.
