We are looking for:
A highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our Data team at Solvay.
Someone who can define how data is stored, consumed, integrated, and managed by different applications and solutions.
An individual who can ensure that our organization follows a formal data standard and that our data assets are in line with the defined architecture and goals of Solvay's business.
We count on you for:
Organizing data at both the macro, into data types/domains, and micro level, data models & elements for data applications
Designing and developing logical data models and diagrams
Designing solutions that will be deployed to collect, curate, provision, and store data
Guiding data architecture principles to be followed by delivery teams
Assisting in the development and enforcement of data management principles, policies and guidelines

You will bring:
Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience with data management disciplines, including data modeling, data engineering, and data quality
Experience in building business intelligence design full-stack
Experience managing data sets and working with ETL and Data warehouse solutions
Understanding of query and analytics tools
Experience in Data Integration: Talend, Informatica, Databricks, or similar
Data Platform Capabilities: Monitoring, Scheduling, Security, etc.
Data Warehousing: Snowflake, Azure DataLake, AWS Redshift, Google Big Query, SQL Server, SAP, or similar
Expertise within Google Cloud Data Platform
Subject area functional knowledge with financial & accounting data (e.g. accounts payable, cashflows, customer, etc.) is a plus
Proven working experience with data management concepts and activities, including an understanding of industry best practices for data modeling, data quality, metadata, and data management principles, policies, and guidelines
Experience in data governance capabilities, including standardized data vocabularies and related capabilities (business glossaries, data dictionaries, etc.)
Experience developing standardized data vocabularies across large organizations and multiple units is strongly preferred
Experience with data issue identification, analysis, and remediation
Working knowledge of complex technology systems, with the ability to effectively communicate with business partners
Effective communication skills (both written and oral) to all levels and the ability to deliver difficult/sensitive information tactfully
