This associate willinteract directly with our Education sales force and customers; he/shewill need to develop and maintain strong local customer relationships asnecessary. This associate will support DSR Route Coverage as anassistant to AE territory support, Customer order guide Maintenance,Customer Development and Customer Review Strategies, assist with SalesGrowth and/or Account Penetration tasks, enhancement of customerrelationships and sustainment of customer Service Level and OEEstandards.
Responsibilities:
AE route coverage and assistance, facilitation and/or execution ofsales route needs, maintain consistent sales associate practices andrelationships; DSR/ customer review for continuous improvement andevaluation of service level expectations and sales revenue/marginsustainmentAccurate entering and processing of customer orders and requests;resolving customer questions and/or concerns; strong follow-up withsales and customer; processing outs, edits and sales reportsAssist in facilitation of samples/cuttings for new/existing growthopportunities; coordinate with SFC specialist/resource(s),vendor/broker, customer and/or sales associate to execute on behalfof DSR and/or customer requests.Assist in preparation of SFC Capabilities package, resources,services, customer presentation packets including PowerPointpresentations as needed.Coordinate and communicate all activities between sales & theirrespective customer entities to ensure a smooth roll-out process fornew account set up, Customer On-boarding Process, complete withfollow-up timelines and customer expectations metricsCoordinates and arranges customer/SFC meetings - scheduling andconfirmation with all parties, preparation of agendas, facilitiesand coordination of necessary resources - i.e. Warehouse Tours,Shamrock hosted School District meetingsWork with AE on Order Guide (OG) Coding and data export for marketbasket preparation.Pro-active and/or requested reporting of customer SL - OEEs,Delivery & Service Level reportingHandle mid to high level customer escalations from both customersand Level 1 peer associates for internal/external customer issuecollaboration and resolveIdentify process improvement opportunities; show consistent projectparticipation; ensure sustainment of Customer Care processesutilizing BPI methodologies.Contribute positively to the Education team, sales community,customer account base, culture, business needs and productivity ofsales goals and initiativesPerform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Two years minimum of direct sales, Customer Care and/or salessupport experience or two years related industry experience and/ortraining, foodservice experience preferredMust have excellent written and communication skills and ability tointerface with customers professionally at all times via phone andemail{=html}<>- Consultative, solutions-oriented and value-based approach to managing account business relationships and customer resolve.- Comprehensive knowledge of SFC product categories and resources and proficient knowledge of various Order Entry processes & procedures, including web-based systems; able to facilitate customer training and/or materials for new customers.- Accuracy of order entry processing, product rationalization, oding and building an order guide.- Must have Microsoft Office proficient - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and ShamrockORDERS- Must be able to understand the Credit Application Process and terms options and Customer Setup Processes - including Delivery Days.- Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to weekends, and holidays.
