Description:
Actalent is currently seeking a Junior Configuration/Change Manager (CM) to support one of our teammates in the defense industry. The selected candidate will aid the customer with establishing change and configuration management processes, managing the day-to-day activities of those processes, tracking compliance of process to policy and procedure, ensuring configuration changes are documented and performed correctly, along with providing resolution to or escalation of any compliance issues to those policies, actions, and/or updates.
This is expected be a short term contract running through April 30th, with potential to be extended to another task order based on funding, performance and the consultants qualifications.
Responsibilities:
· Manage a CM and software maintenance process for assigned NASIC systems, activities, applications, databases, and infrastructures.
· Prepare and/or analyze change requests.
· Provide implementation strategies via Work Plans as requested by the Gov’t due to scheduling, requirements, or other changes.
· Assist and advise the Configuration Control Board on SIGINT-related issues and efforts relative to national SIGINT activities and sites.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelors Degree – Computer Science or Computer Information Systems
• Experience: 1-5 years
• Clearance: TS/SCI
• Experience in Linux Operating Systems (Red Hat Enterprise License 9/RHEL 9)
• Experience with network accreditation using Risk Management Framework
Highly Desired:
• Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) or Active Directory (AD)
• Virtualization (VMWare) or Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization (RHEV)
• Scripting Language (Python, Perl, PowerShell)
