You will have opportunities to work in a dynamic environment, with state of the art simulation technologies, unique data processing software suites, and experienced military Subject Matter Experts (SME). Our work focuses on conducting capability assessments for emerging military technologies and ensuring related tools and methodologies are suitable to inform Department of Defense (DoD) decision makers.Essential Job Functions:Analysis and debugging skills of developmental software.Integrate and validate new product designs.Assess third party and open source software.Develop code, test and troubleshoot the system software.Develop test plans, procedures, and organize resources to facilitate testing of advanced technologies.Document test activities, including writing test reports, analyzing test data, and making recommendations to the engineering team.Work both individually and with a broader engineering team.Requirements:Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.At least a BS degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information: eligible to attain a Secret level U.S. DoD security clearance.Proficiency developing in object-oriented software languages with an associated integrated development environment.Candidates should have experience with Modern Software Development practices and tools such at: AGILE, Kanban, Git, Artifactory, Cucumber, Jira, Jenkins, etc.Candidates should have experience with container frameworks and orchestration, such as: Kubernetes, K8s, Docker, Singularity, OCI, etc.Excellent written and verbal English communications skills.Ability to work well in team environments.Ability to travel, as required.Desired Skills:Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance.Experience in modeling, simulation, and analysis software such as MATLAB.Experience with real time operating systems (RTOS).Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets.Knowledge of different IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems.Experience with Linux OS, such as: RedHat (RHEL), CentOS, etc.•DCS Corp is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity/Male/Female/Veterans/Pay Transparency Employer
