  Job Description

  AECOM is currently seeking an experienced Commissioning Project Manager to lead and support complex projects on US Federal Projects worldwide in our New York office location.

  This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  Provides overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.

  Provides technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.

  Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction project.

  Commissioning:

  Provide commissioning technical leadership within practice and region.

  Ensure that projects are delivered within the agreed upon cost, quality, schedule and profit.

  Initiates and leads all phases of comprehensive design through post-occupancy commissioning.

  Leads development of AECOM provides commissioning specifications, commissioning plan, procedures, and content.

  Lead Quality Control Verifier for AECOM developed commissioning procedures.

  Lead development of commissioning requirements and documentation.

  Performs construction field inspections related to all phases of the commissioning process.

  Project Management:

  Interface with clients on schedules, meetings and issues (manage client expectations).

  Advise senior management of the project status on a regular basis.

  Anticipate potential schedule or priority delays and initiate plans for alternative actions

  Complies with AECOM project manager guidelines and reporting duties including but not limited to:

  Project Execution

  Project Deadlines

  Client Communication

  Team Utilization

  Estimate at Completion (EAC)

  Billings

  Collections

  Travel:

  Position requires 30% domestic and international business travel.Qualifications

  Minimum Requirements

  BA/BS + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  Must have Commissioning experience and/or background

  U.S. Citizenship required, due to the nature of the work

  Valid Driver’s License and must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review

  Preferred Requirements

  Advanced knowledge in the design, installation, startup, and testing of high capacity campus HVAC & Electrical Distribution Systems

  High technical aptitude in programming and troubleshooting of building automation systems

  Knowledgeable in BAS data analytics systems

  Experience developing complex system test procedures for new construction and existing buildings

  Ability to identify and respond to issues related to non-conformance

  Additional Information

  Relocation is not available for this position.

  Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is: $100k - $150k.
