We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for a CNC Programmer/Operator position at our Chino CA location. This position requires duties and responsibilities for both programming and operating as follows: 5 Axis CNC Programmer Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following, as well as other duties that may be assigned: • Program and setup 5 axis and 3 axis CNC routers • Analyze drawings, 3D models and other designs to determine the best process for manufacturing plastic parts • Write setup instruction and tool list to optimize setup time • Observe operation of machine on trial run to improve program cycle time • Create work instructions (traveler) detailing manufacturing steps. 5 Axis CNC Machine Operator Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following, as well as other duties that may be assigned: • Ability to read code, drawings and work instructions and set up machinery accordingly • Design and build fixtures to assist in trimming formed plastic parts • Performs part inspection and verification that parts meet quality standards as required • Works with Quality to correct non-conforming parts • Keeps machining area neat and orderly • Daily inspects equipment performs scheduled maintenance as needed Required Education and Experience: • 3+ years Mastercam and SolidWorks experience or other 3D CAD software • Experienced in 5 axis CNC router programming, setup and operation • CNC trade school certification or equivalent Benefits Package: • Medical • Dental • Vision • Flexible Spending Account • 401K Plan • Basic Life and AD&D • Voluntary Life Insurance • Long Term Disability • Employee Assistance Program • Vacation • Sick Leave • Paid Holidays Equal Opportunity Employer: Disability/Veteran Job Type: Full-time
