Summary of Duties:
The Assessment Clinical Skills Coordinator will lead the coordination of clinical skills (including EPAs, Competencies, blueprinting/mapping) and follow clinical reasoning, OSCEs, and clinical skills teaching and learning across the four-year MD program. The Clinical Skills Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring the transition between the pre-clerkship and clerkship years as well as the transition to residency. This position will use a portfolio-based assessment approach to specifically support the Workplace-based assessments and clinical assessments across all four years of the curriculum, ensuring compliance with WSU and LCME standards and regulations per FERPA.
The coordinator will work to refine developmental cut offs, plan, organize, and coordinate operations for the Assessment program by supporting faculty in the design, development and delivery of the clinical skills curriculum based upon best practices. The incumbent will provide guidance to faculty and administration with course design and instructional approaches for clinical components of the program to ensure students meet desired learning outcomes. This work will include the editing, analyzing, interpreting, and monitoring of both the curriculum and the program of student assessment to ensure alignment that optimizes student learning.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to area of specialization and three (3) years of experience directly related to the specialty area. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Additional Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, Management, Communication, Administrative Services, the applied sciences, or related field. Experience may be substituted for education.
• Experience in assistance, support, or coordination in the areas of curriculum or assessment (or similar program) or other activities in a higher education, healthcare, or equivalent setting.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills in both informal and formal settings.
• Demonstrated experience executing established process flows.

Monthly Salary: Minimum: $4,061.90, Midpoint: $5,077.37, Maximum: $6,092.84; commensurate with qualifications and experience.
