  Position Summary

  The Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care is recruiting a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to work on studies related to sleep disorders, including sleep apnea and sleep deprivation. the CRC will assist PI with the planning and implementation of several NIH-funded studies. Work involves assisting with participant recruitment and study visits, collecting biological samples, and maintaining accurate and detailed data. The applicant will assist with communicating with the IRB and sponsor.

  Responsibilities

  Assist with screening and enrolling subjects for clinical research studies by telephone and/or in-person.Collect and process research samples and/or specimens.Assist with administration of questionnaires or diaries as per protocol.Assist in review of documents for completeness and accuracy.Perform data entry and assist with ensuring data integrity and consistency.Perform other duties as needed.Minimum Qualifications

  Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or physics or related science or equivalent in education, training, and experiencePreferred Qualifications

  One year of related experiencePhlebotomy certificate/trainingOther Requirements

  Participation in the medical surveillance programContact with patients and/or human research subjectsPotential bloodborne pathogen exposureSuccessful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements
