Position Summary:
The lab of Dr. Jason Sprowl (https://pharmacy.buffalo.edu/content/pharmacy/faculty-staff/faculty-profile.html?ubit=jasonspr) is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Research Assistant who is interested in participating in translational research (Bench to bedside) with prior experience in molecular biology or pharmacology. The work will involve discovery within the field of drug transporters and identify how they contribute to variable patient outcome. The lab focuses on therapeutics used in oncology and works with cell culture and animal models to study mechanisms regulating drug accumulation, efficacy and toxicity.
Job Duties:
Conduct in vitro and in vivo experimentation
Provide support for lab including animal care, maintaining cell cultures, data analysis, and general lab maintenance
Assist with writing protocols, documenting experimental outcome, critiques, and manuscripts
Aid in training student and other lab personnel

Minimum Qualifications:
BS in Biology, Pharmacology or related fieldPreferred Qualifications:
MS degree
Experience with animal handling
