Woodhaven Residential Treatment Center, a leading provider of substance abuse treatment, is seeking Chemical Dependency Counselors to join their new Lebanon outpatient facility. As a counselor, you will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling, developing treatment plans, and educating clients on coping mechanisms to overcome substance abuse. 　　Responsibilities

　　Conduct individual and group counseling sessions and assessments for clients seeking treatment for substance abuse.

　　Develop individualized treatment plans for each client, considering their unique strengths, challenges and goals.

　　Educate clients on coping mechanisms to overcome addiction, and provide them with tools to maintain long-term sobriety.

　　Maintain accurate and thorough client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.

　　Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to ensure best possible outcomes for clients, coordinating care to address medical and psychiatric needs alongside substance abuse treatment.

　　Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, knowledge and skills to ensure effective and informed treatment.

　　Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality, upholding ethical standards and maintaining positive relationships with clients, their families and other stakeholders.

　　Requirements

　　Minimum of LCDC II is required. Those with a CDCA can join the team in Dayton.

　　Experience working in substance abuse treatment settings, preferably in an outpatient setting.

　　Knowledge of various addiction treatment modalities and interventions.

　　Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

　　Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain positive professional relationships.

　　Knowledge of laws, regulations and codes of ethics related to chemical dependency counseling.
