CHH offers personalized attention from an expert team of caregivers and physicians that utilize advanced technology and clinical partnerships in a convenient, safe and comfortable patient environment. _POSITION SUMMARY/PURPOSE_ Assists the surgeon at the sterile field by providing appropriate and adequate sterile instruments and other supplies during the operative procedure. Maintain the surgical field through aseptic practices. Works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse as a member of the pre-operative team. Assists in the nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient for surgery. Responsible for the assembly of cases. Works cooperatively with ancillary departments and other team members. Participates in performance improvement activities. Assists the department as needed. CPR Certification. Certification within one year. _EDUCATION_ Graduate of a formal accredited surgical technician-training program. _EXPERIENCE_ Graduate of a formal accredited training program.
