We are working with a well establish company looking for a Certified Payroll Specialist role. This is a Temp To Hire role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing, with a focus on ensuring compliance with certified payroll requirements. Great benefits!! Responsibilities:
Process certified payroll in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Verify accuracy of time cards, wage rates, and deductions.
Prepare and submit certified payroll reports in a timely manner.
Collaborate with project managers and HR to gather necessary payroll information.
Stay updated on changes in certified payroll regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
Address payroll-related inquiries and issues from employees.
Qualifications:
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred.
Proven experience in certified payroll processing.
Knowledge of relevant state and federal payroll regulations.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in certified payroll processing.
