　　BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION

　　Buyer: For structure fabrication for Boilers, Steam Turbines, ACC, BOP, Auxiliaries and Accessories in Cement, Oil and Gas, Fertilizer, Chemical and Process Industries

　　RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Preparation of BOM/BOQ and RFQ for fabrication items-structural, ducting, hoppers etc.

　　Review of offers from various sub-contractors, Techno-commercial comparison statement preparation. Selection of competent vendors.

　　Preparation of fabrication and delivery schedule and monitoring.

　　Coordination with internal and SCM Team for manufacturing and delivery.

　　Arrange approvals of documents from customer and consultants.

　　On Time execution

　　Risk management including identification and monitoring.

　　QUALIFICATION

　　BE Mechanical.

　　EXPERIENCE

　　Total Experience: 10 to 12 years

　　Experience in:

　　Direct interaction and coordination with all related sub vendors

　　Familiarity with IBR/ASME/IS Codes. Must good knowledge of ASME Code for Materials like Steels (Carbon steel, Alloy steel, Stainless steel) & many other materials used in steel factories.

　　Experience with software programs such as Excel, AutoCAD

　　· Experience with reviewing design drawings to perform steel takeoffs.

　　SAP experience

　　Strategic thinking, data analytics, commodity mapping & its technical evaluation and experience in supplier development.

　　Good commercial awareness (commercial terms).

　　· Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

　　· Established project management skills.

　　· Good communication skills

　　· Excellent negotiation skills

　　· Excellent people management skills
