This intern position is for the summer 2024 season and will include working on water related projects, including but not limited to water resources, water conveyance, fish passage, stormwater drainage, wastewater treatment, drinking water, etc.
You will have the ability to engage with subject matter experts in the water field and beyond. You will have the ability to work on a variety of projects and be supported in choosing projects in which you want to work on. You will participate in Water Team meetings.

Here's What You'll Need:
In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering in an accredited program
Must be at least a rising Senior or Master’s Student
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or ArcGIS
Submittal of a cover letter with your resume letting us know what types of water-related projects you would like to work on as well as relevant experience you would bring to this position
Ability to clearly communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs
Ability to multi-task, juggling tasks at the same time for various projects
Self-driven time management and organizational skills
During the internship, it is expected that you would come into the Bellevue or Seattle office at least 3 days a week. The remaining time can be work from home.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
3.0 GPA
A previous internship related to your field of study
Typical hourly rate for this intern position is $27.60/hr and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
